Atlantic University’s Events Facilitator is also A.R.E. Headquarters’ Conferences  Facilitator and  a graduate of the Cayce-Reilly® School of Massotherapy. She is a Certified Hypnotherapist specializing in Integrated Imagery and has studied with pioneers in the Past Life Regression field such as Delores Cannon, Roger Woolger, and John Amoroso. In a “previous life within this life”, she traveled extensively as a singer/pianist originally out of Buffalo, N.Y.,  before relocating to Virginia Beach to study and work at the A.R.E. in 1991.

She is currently busy compiling a CD of original music and due to her previous work as a Play Therapist she loves to report that she has been fortunate enough to spend most of her adult life getting paid to “play!” An avid chronicler of her own dreams for over 30 years, Cheryl also has lectured on the Cayce method of dream interpretation at A.R.E. headquarters, at Cayce’s hometown of Hopkinsville, KY, and in the Washington, DC area. Her other passion is for the topic of Reincarnation and her work with children led to an article titled: “Out of the Mouths of Babes: Children Who Remember Past Lives” in the March/April 2009 issue of A.R.E.’s Venture Inward magazine. She was recently featured on A.R.E.’s Reflections Radio program discussing children who remember their past lives and offering tips for parents on ways to support and encourage these children to share their memories. Her positive, uplifting spirit and desire to empower others to learn ways to uncover their own inner guidance led her to A.R.E. camp with her partner, David Riblet, in 2009 when they were the resource people for the adult session entitled “Joyfully Following Spirit”. Dr Brooks Agnew – Inner Earth North Pole Expedition April 25th 7 PM EST

The Expedition

The North Pole Inner Earth Expedition is the Greatest Expedition in the History of the World.

The Yamal was retired in 2008. The Captain Kalibnikov is the only civilian ship remaining in the world that can make this voyage. It is 450 feet long, weighs 23,000 tons, and has a 4 ½ year fuel supply. It is capable of carrying 100 passengers. It also has a helicopter and a small boat used for forward exploration and for sampling the sea and ice. The Yamal is the key to success for equipment to reach and successfully study the arctic regions. The team is going to be well housed on this ship for the 14-day charter. No diesel craft can make this journey. We need at least 5 days on location to take the measurements necessary to make the project a success.

JAMES E. CLARKSON – ufo investigator, author, and lecturer April 18th 7 PM EST

James Clarkson lived in San Francisco, CA and graduated First Honors from a college prep school. Heattended the University of California at Berkeley and later Saint Martin’s University in Washington State. In 1974 he enlisted in the Army and served as a Military Police Investigator at Fort Lewis, WA, earning an Army Commendation Medal for his investigative work prior to his honorable discharge in 1977. His military service resulted in an ongoing interest in the field of investigations.

James Clarkson is a career investigator. He served for 20 years with the Aberdeen, WA Police retiring as a Sergeant with assignments as Detective Sergeant, Patrol Sergeant, Fatal Accident Team Supervisor and Field Training Officer Supervisor.

He has successfully completed 20 years of ongoing and specialized training in the field of criminal investigation and police operations from the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission. He has been certified as a First Level Supervisor, Technical Accident Investigator, and Child Victim interviewer. He later worked as a Child Abuse Detective for a Children’s Advocacy Center until he was hired for his current position as a fraud investigator for a non-Federal government agency.

As a young man James heard a radio broadcast in 1966 when John G. Fuller was interviewed about the famous Exeter, New Hampshire UFO’s. Thus began a lifelong quest to learn what is behind the Mystery. In 1987 James Clarkson joined MUFON and began over 20 years of being an advocate to his fellow officers and the public, lecturing at regional libraries in 5 Washington-state counties, and becoming known as the UFO Cop to the deputies and officers in Grays Harbor County on the southwest Washington coast.

In 1993 James Clarkson met June Crain and became both her friend and the primary researcher into her past when she worked in classified laboratories at Wright-Patterson AFB from 1943 to 1953. June Crain described from experience what the scientists and engineers of WPAFB knew about UFO’s and how very different their “common knowledge” was from what the public is told.

June Crain asked James Clarkson to “tell my story” before she died in 1998. Her revelations became an important testimony in support of the Majestic Documents research project. June Crain’s story is available on the Majestic Documents website and has been featured in “The Secret” as seen on the SCI-FI Channel and on an episode of the UFO Files titled “Hangar 18.”

Johnny Brennan - Jerky Boys & Family Guy-April 4th - 7 PM EST

This week I am very excited to share with you the originator of "The Jerky Boys" and also some of the voices on "Family Guy"  ..........

“Characters. It’s always been about the characters, from day one,” Johnny insists. “It was never about the phone. That was merely the medium which gave the characters their form.” This wacky group of different personalities is the bedrock of “The Jerky Boys” project and now, hundreds of characters later, “The Jerky Boys” project still thrives, as albums continue to sell and Johnny enjoys a solid voice-over career.

It started in the late 70’s - early 80’s, when Johnny was still working in the construction business. He had just received a speaker phone as a gift and one day, while searching want ads for a pickup truck, an idea popped into his head. Before long, he was playing tapes of his uproarious phone calls for family and friends. A “900” line soon followed and a number of the comedy routines were then compiled into an album and released on an independent label. Each new character started to come alive as a lead player in each of the hilarious comedy sketches. And that’s how the characters were first introduced to the legions of Jerky Boys’ fans.

Since the release of the first bootleg tapes and debut CD, The Jerky Boys characters have surely inspired imitators. “I remember sitting in a box at Shea Stadium one day, just sitting there, not for an event or anything,” Johnny explains. “And I heard two fans jeering one another. ‘Hey sit down there sizzlechest!! What are you some kinda toughguy? I’ll wrap your f@$#* head in with a ratchet if you don’t watch your step!!’ That kind of thing. I’d hear it all the time, in all kinds of places. What a feeling. Incredible. Who knew?”

The characters’ names, in addition to the phone calls themselves, are often created spontaneously. When inspired to name Frank Rizzo, Johnny’s very popular Italian-American toughguy persona, Johnny didn’t even realize Philadelphia had had a long-time mayor with the same name.  “And to do Rizzo is not a stretch,” Johnny claims, since Rizzo is basically based on Johnny’s memories of his father when he was chasing Johnny around the house, looking to give him a good ass-whooping. Johnny then tossed in a few “toughguys,” “sizzlechests” and “nutty-asses” to complete the character.

Product Summary: The first five Jerky Boys  albums of clandestine prank phone calls have sold well over ten million copies worldwide. Two of the albums were awarded Best Comedy Album honors at the NARM convention for two consecutive years -- not too shabby, especially when you consider that much of the material on those albums had previously been bootlegged three times as much as any Grateful Dead tape. The second album went gold in eight days, was nominated for the Best Comedy Album Grammy Award and raced with and beat out Radiohead’s debut “Pablo Honey” album, (actually named after Jerky Boys’ creator Johnny Brennan’s Cuban character on “Jerky Boys 2,” for the number one spot on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. Subway Sandwiches pounced on the opportunity to use the Jerky Boys characters to sell their sandwiches via the use of prank calls to their shops nationwide. In addition, the The Jerky Boys assisted Anheuser-Busch by boosting Bud Light sales via the use of over one hundred and fifty actual recorded pranks - used for various radio and television spots.  Over fifty of these pranks have been used to date. Several of these spots won the coveted Mercury Award, given to the best commercial of the year.
