Pagan Health Studies- Dr. Kimberly Hedrick, Amber Roth, Lamyka L. and Star Foster January 3rd-7 PM EST.

This week, we will be starting of the new year on a positive note. Talking with 4 special women who have a strong passion to do good withing their own communities. Dr. Kimberly Hedrick conducted a study on of the Health care issues within the “Pagan” community.  Personally, I did not know there was any kind of a forum based on this topic. And I am sure most of you are unaware as well. Therefore this show.

 Dr Kimberly Hedrick has conducted a survey and has done research into Pagans and mental health services, as well as the issue of healing and legal issues around “practicing medicine.”

Lamyka L. participates in several Pagan groups as well as contributes to The Pagan Centered Podcast, “P.C.P.”  Lamyka also hosts her own Podcast titled  ” Lamyka’s Wiccan Podcast”

Star Foster too is extremely active within the Pagan community and reports on many subjects that involve Pagans directly or indirectly. She too contributes to P.C.P on many occasions and has earned wide respect as well as celebrity like status within the Pagan community. She is also the Pagan Portal Manager at Patheos.com.

Amber Roth also contributes and is an original member of P.C.P.  She is very involved within the Pagan community as well and has earned respect as well as a” Cult” like following as she is extremely knowledgeable on religious matters and is very good at communicating with all religions.

You “DO NOT” have to be Pagan to be interested in this subject. It involves all of us, like it or not. So come to the show and see how people outside of the mainstream, do the best they can without mainstream support. We can all learn something from these very inspiring Women.

Robert Simcox - Paranormal Cafe - December 27th - 7 PM EST

Join me this week as I am joined by a special guest from another talk show host Robert Simcox.  He has been hosting a paranormal talk show since 2005  in West Chester Pennsylvania. Rob is the founder of Black Horse Paranormal Research in 1993. At the time, there were no other paranormal research groups in the area (S.E. Pennsylvania).

Jonas Elrod - Wake Up - December 20th- 7 PM EST

Join me this week as Jonas Elrod joins me to talk about his experience that led him to make the Film ” Wake Up “.  This is an amazing story that essentially can happen to any of us.

Jonas Elrod was a 37-year-old filmmaker who enjoyed a successful career shooting commercials, music videos, and documentaries when one day, while planning his next day’s shooting schedule in a San Francisco hotel room, he began to see visions. Since that day, Elrod says he sees ghosts, demons, angels, colorful clouds of energy, and personal auras wherever he goes, and he can’t explain what is happening to him or why. Elrod and his girlfriend began looking for a reason for this phenomenon, and visited a long series of doctors, psychiatrists, and spiritual teachers, trying to determine if his visions were the product of an illness, psychosis, or a genuine spiritual apparition, and as the process went on, Elrod found he wasn’t certain if his visions were a curse or a blessing. Filmmaker Chloe Crespi (who saw ghosts as a child) began helping Elrod make a film about his experiences and his search for an answer to an almost impossible question, and Wake Up is a documentary about a man chasing a mystery and looking for answers within and outside himself. Wake Up was an official selection at the 2009 South by Southwest Film Festival.
